Presentations that inform and engage

The Center offers educational presentations about George C. Marshall that are shaped to energize and excite students, while satisfying academic goals. Through a dynamic and interactive Powerpoint presentation enhanced with historic and contemporary imagery, students learn about Marshall’s remarkable contributions to 20th-century history while understanding more about his personal life in Leesburg, Virginia.

Presentations may be modified to accommodate secondary or elementary school students and can be given onsite in classrooms or auditorium settings. They serve as an excellent precursor to a field trip to Dodona Manor, but can also stand alone as a discrete learning experience for students.

To schedule an educational presentation about George C. Marshall and Dodona Manor, contact Education Coordinator Patricia Black at (703) 777-1880 or at dodonadocentpat@aol.com.

"They found in Marshall one of those rare teachers who made a difference, who opened minds in such a way that they never afterwards quite closed again or forgot the excitement of a new idea."

- Forrest Pogue
Marshall's official biographer
