The George C. Marshall International Center is currently exhibiting...

"Katherine Marshall - First Lady of the Army"

Available during regular tour hours:
Saturdays 10 a.m. - 5pm and Sundays 1pm - 5pm

This exhibit featuring photos and memorabilia never before displayed at Dodona Manor, chronicles the life of Katherine Marshall from birth in Harrodsburg, Kentucky to her death in Leesburg.  Represented in text and photographs, the exhibit explores her life and work including her time at Hollins College, in an English Shakespeare repertory company, as the mother of three children and as the wife of General George C. Marshal.

Events for "Friends of Dodona Manor"...

Evening Talks with Three Grandchildren
of George & Katherine Marshall

Over the years the grandchildren of Katherine and George Marshall have been most helpful in furtherance of the Center's mission. Recently each of them gave an informal talk on what they remember. The talks were very popular and very well attended. Be sure to check back often to see what other events we have scheduled.

If you weren't fortunate enough to be able to attend, you can still view a video of our first talk with Kitty Winn. Click on the image below to play the video.

"The house reflects Marshall's most honored characteristics - humility, a tenacious work ethic, commitment to peace, and great love of family."

- William Seale
Architectural historian
