Honor the Visionaries Who Shaped Our World

The George C. Marshall International Center (GCMIC) celebrated our first annual Innovation Award recipient, Dr. Vinton G. Cerf, An Internet Pioneer.  The award was presented during dinner on March 9, 2019, at the Army-Navy Country Club (Arlington).  Like General Marshall, Dr. Cerf had a profound impact on how we live our lives.

GCMIC’s mission is to preserve the enduring legacy of General George Catlett Marshall, by interpreting and propagating its relevance to our time. These objectives are advanced through community and international education programs and events, and by continuing to restore and preserve The Marshall House and gardens, located in Leesburg, Virginia.
